My aim in counselling is to help my client deal with and overcome issues that are causing emotional pain or making them feel uncomfortable. It can provide a safe and regular space for you to talk and explore difficult feelings. I am there to support you and respect your views. I won't usually give advice, but will help you find your own insights into and understanding of your problem. In Hypnotherapy my aim is to help with a problem, by giving suggestions to the unconscious mind whilst the person is in a more relaxed state than usual.You remain fully aware of your surroundings and situation, and are not vulnerable to every command given by your therapist. The important thing is that you want to change some behaviours, habit or addiction, and you are ready and willing to do so. Both therapie are there to help a client deal with any problem that may be stopping them from living a positive healthy life.
